In the Ark of the Covenant, there were the law tablets, Aaron’s rod, and a jar of manna. These symbolize:
- law: God’s guidance
- rod: God’s favor
- jar: God’s provision
What else could we want/need from God? The Ark of the Covenant (not Noah’s ark) represented the presence of God with His people. Now, His presence is with His people, especially in His church.
And that’s we go to church for. That’s what we get from God by seeking Him:
- guidance
- favor
- provision.

Wondrous how God Revealed Himself in Forshadowing.
Aaron’s staff that budded, the manna from heaven, God’s word and the presence of God. Through the finished work of Jesus we can now enjoy these in our heart instead of once a year in the holy of holies.
Hallelujah!
This is a reminder of God with us. Thank for sharing. More blessing.
u r a blessing!
I have always loved the thought of Aarons rod budding, it made me realize that the Spirit of God gives life even to dead things that have been dead years ago, used for something else and has no chance ever to bud.
This makes me realize that as I carry the Holy Spirit inside of me, every dead thing in my life will resurrect and even those who hang around me will be inadvertently affected. Whoop! Whoop!
That’s a good one!!!
