Let your wife choose

Sweet Lady JaneI really don’t care too much for Sweet Lady Jane’s pastries. But if I let my wife choose where we go out, her eyes go sparkly. She becomes Sweet Lady Dianna.

If the husband insists on making every decision, he will sour his marriage, frustrating needlessly his wife. If you insist on making EVERY decision, you ultimately harm your own leadership. You show your self-centeredness, which diminishes your love.

Go where you don’t like. Go out on a date where she likes.

  1. This goes for the ladies doing what their husbands like to do sometimes too. I am guilty of wanting to do what I want only sometimes. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hubby would probably like this, honestly, as he TRIES to get me to choose and I hem and haw and finally say, “Whatever YOU want, honey!”, people pleaser that I am. Lol

  3. Wise decision there LOL

  4. We do need to be up front about what our preferences are, too. There’s no point in doing what the song from My Fair Lady says, ending up doing what neither likes at all.

  5. This is such a sweet and loving post. The Bible tells us to submit to one another in love, out of reverence for Christ {Eph 5:21}, which means to consider our mate’s desires, first. Life just goes so much more smoothly when we put go that extra step!

Thank you for “liking” my post “Homemade Stock Without the Stress” {https://bugsandstuff.wordpress.com/2015/01/30/homemade-stock-without-the-stress/}. Be blessed!

  6. I can understand why she likes that. ๐Ÿ™‚ Easy to follow her there….

    Amen,you have the right attitude.

  8. thank you for sharing exactly what I need

  9. I am blessed with a husband who wants to please and lets me choose regularly. He really doesn’t have a preference anyway…he just wants food!! ๐Ÿ˜‰
