Embrace change

murmuringwithout murmuring. The Israelites complained so much at almost every step of the way out of slavery. They didn’t like the food. They were thirsty. They were afraid. God was too strict.

Then they said it. We were better off in slavery!

Can you imagine someone wanting to go back to slavery?

Ultimately, their bad attitude kept them from entering the Promised Land. The first generation died wandering in the desert. Their children possessed the good land.

If you’re in great upheaval right now, praise God for the trial. Try not to complain. I know it’s hard.

Ooh, another convicting one! We are currently trying to get hubby’s dream business off the ground. Have every faith it will be great with the Lord’s guidance, terrific to have him home more than when he drove truck but I can admit to some grumbling over losing the steady truck driving income. Thank you for the reminder!

  2. Not a “fun” word, but entirely in line with Hebrews 12.

  3. There is a positive in every situation. One just has to look for it and be patient. Not always easy. There is so much good that it over powers the bad. The sun will always come out tomorrow. (Unless your in Minnesota on a January or February day., sometimes cloudy)
