Anonymous ministers

anonymousWhen I was head pastor, I romanticized being an anonymous servant. I even prayed to be one.

Then I became pretty much an anonymous member of the church. No more high-flying ministry. Honestly, I didn’t like it too much.

God had to remind that I had prayed to become anonymous. If you’re not on the kudos list here on Earth, don’t despair. Just praise Jesus because you’ll be getting your reward in Heaven.

  1. Amen! It’s tough being a servant and really tough being an invisible one, but that is what Christ Himself spent much of His life doing.

  2. I can really relate to this from music ministry to an anonymous servant. I prayed for it too.. it was difficult at first.. but i think it gave me more time to focus on my relationship with God..

  3. Be careful what you pray for,
    you might just get it.
    All prayers are answered,
    in god’s time.
Love, hugs and prayers … ME

  4. I can imagine it must be hard to not jump in when you see something that needs to be done, or not speaking up when you have knowledge or information. Prayers for peace that God has you where you are supposed to be.
