Don’t worry about the foundation

All foundations are equal, they say. Don’t worry about what the Bible says, they say. Morals are relative, they say.

Jesus says: Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock — Matt. 7:24 NLT.

In 2016, I’m still sticking with the Bible. I’m not joining the downgrade crowd, those who want to “move on” from the Bible to “better things.” Because when your life gets swallowed up by the uncertain foundation, it’s too late to change.

  1. Essentially just had this conversation with the Lord this morning. Perfect timing (as always). Forwarding this to several social media sites. PS, in leu of earlier comment on polygamy in the OT, found Malachi 2 this morning. Thanks again.

  2. Although, I do think that, despite the consequences that need to be faced, if there is breath in the body, it’s never too late to receive God’s grace. Thoughts?

  6. I agree; what a vivid illustration. All other ground is sinking sand!
