SEOs battle to rank for Google’s first page. You have to jump through hoops to discover the inscrutable indices of Google’s bots to get a 3, 4, or 5 that can land you on the first page of search. After months of ingenuity and sweat, you may get it. All this for the attention of the consumer.
To get God’s attention is much easier. As a matter of fact, you’re his page-one top hit. It doesn’t require months, nor weeks, nor days. Not even hours. Just 30 seconds of prayer
is enough to have His undivided attention. In the Kingdom of God, everyone ranks a 10 because God is omniscient — He knows everything all at the same time.
Actually, it is God who is vying for your attention. He’s doing everything in His power, but you rank Him waaaaay down on search page 157 — or lower. Stop playing hard-to-get, and let God rise in your ranking of things clamoring for your attention.
As soon as you pray, you’ll pop up on His screen. Sooner.
Loved this post…God should be number one. Thank you
You ALWAYS have something positive to say. Thank YOU!
REALLY hits the spot for the bloggers who read you and GREAT picture of Jesus. May I use it?
Doesn’t he look like Jesus? That’s what I thought when I stumbled across him. I have no idea who he is.
May you use him? Of course. I didn’t bother to ask the person I swiped him from on pinterest. I try to credit the source but sometimes forget to write it down.
okay thank-you. The eyes are incredible
as far as i know, you just take what you want on internet and you try to attribute the source in the photo caption and that’s all. you don’t ask. it’s like public domain.
oh okay, thanks
now, if you make a profit on another’s work, then that’s a problem…
ahhh, I understand now. I am an English Major from the olden days. Taught in a Catholic College to be utterly detailed and overly scrupulous about plagiarism (That is the Jesuits for you)
Just so you guys are safe about it I have some knowledge on this as I’ve worked in media for years. It actually is against federal copyright laws to take/use any photo, words, song – any creation – without written permission from the creator. Some image creators give a Creative Common License to use their images and some do give them away free. But I’d hate for you to get in legal trouble by just using anything. In fact Pinterest had to change their useage rights agreements because creators are going after them big time. Seems almost like a Napster type thing going on. Remember that whole fiasco?! Users even got sued! Yikes!
On another note: I love this post! Since I work in media the analogy was spot on for me. Great post my blogging friend!
I am now following you, oh wise one- thank-you
So what should I do with photos?
I emailed you back Mike about the photos. 🙂
Amen!!!

Makes me think of “Seek Him FIRST…”. Great reminder… thank you!

I like that thought. God knows what we’re going to pray before we even pray it, actually. Great post. Loved the images!
